1.3 Information Classification Levels

All content within CorpSE must be assigned an information classification to ensure appropriate handling, access, and retention.

Standard classification levels include:

• Public (Internal): Information safe for broad internal distribution
• Confidential: Sensitive business information with restricted access
• Restricted: Highly sensitive information with limited, role-based access

Information classification determines access controls, sharing limitations, storage requirements, and retention obligations.
